Full Plot

After meeting up with Billy, Rebecca fights her way through the train, facing leeches, zombies, and rabid dogs alike.
After much exploration, the two come face to face with a large, mutated scorpion.
The two keep their cool and manage to take it down. Their celebration is cut short, however, by the realization that the train is speeding out of control. If they don't stop it, they will both surely die.
The two manage to apply the brakes and change the course just in time. Once the train is stopped, they get out and look around. Not sure of where they are, they follow the only available route.
They end up in an abandoned Umbrella training and research facility.
Confused, they see statues of a man identified as Doctor Marcus, who supposedly died some time ago. However, they are then treated to an announcement made by none other than the doctor himself. They have little time to wonder, as they are swiftly attacked by more undead creatures.
After more exploration, Billy reveals what happened that caused him to be sentenced to death.
His unit was in the middle of an African village. They had been ordered to kill the civilians, an order which had not sat well with Billy. However, he had no choice but to obey. He begrudgingly raised his rifle and carried out his orders. However, it was not until too late that they discovered that the orders were based on false information. Desperate to take the blame off of the military, the people in charge blamed Billy for the offense.
Knowing this, Rebecca feels more at ease. They continue further into the facility.
The two discover that the facility's founders, James Marcus, Ozwell Spencer, and Edward Ashford, discovered a virus known as the progenitor. They combined this with the ebola virus to create a virus which resulted in rapid, extreme mutations. Ashford had intended to use it to help those with handicaps, but Marcus and Spencer had other ideas. They began researching its application with creating bio-weaponry. After much experimentation, they finally combined the virus with leech DNA to create a new virus known as the T-virus.
The pair continue moving, eventually facing a large, mutated bat inside a church.
Once they defeat this bat,
Billy is unexpectedly attacked by an infected monkey and is lost inside an underground laboratory. Rebecca then meets up with Enrico Marini, the leader of Bravo team. She is later forced to fight a Tyrant. Afterwards, she finds Billy on a walkway. The two then continue on together.
The Tyrant then attacks again, forcing the pair to fight it together. They defeat it and move even deeper inside.
At long last, they meet Doctor James Marcus. He reveals that he is the one responsible for the T-virus outbreak. He had been employed by Umbrella, but Spencer ordered Wesker and Birkin to eliminate him. Before death, his queen leech entered his body and began to reproduce in an effort to hold on to his memories and mind.
Marcus then transforms into leeches and chases the pair through the facility.
They are cornered by the queen. They can't seem to harm it with regular weaponry, and thus prepare to die. However, light pokes through the ceiling and shines on the leech, revealing its weakness. It is photosensitive.
Rebecca quickly tosses Billy a revolver with which he finishes the leech off for good.
The two escape the facility and make it to a cliff. Rebecca says goodbye to Billy, saying that Billy Cohen was officially dead.
He smiles and says goodbye before leaving.
Rebecca then heads towards the mansion to find out what happened to the rest of the team.
