Plot

Leon Scott Kennedy is a little nervous; it's his first day on the job. He gathers his things and heads out. He's been hired by the RPD (Raccoon Police Department) as a cop. The drive into town is quiet. Raccoon City seems empty and dead.
Meanwhile, Claire Redfield is wondering about her brother, Chris. Where did he disappear to? she asks herself. After a long time of worrying, she decides to head out to Raccoon City and see for herself where he is.
While driving along, Leon comes across a body lying in the street. He gets out to see if the person is alright, but when they get up and walk towards Leon, he knows something's wrong.
Claire enters the bar. There's no one inside that she can see. "Hello?" she calls. No one answers. Suddenly, she sees someone. However, they seem...inhuman. She begins to retreat, but is stuck inside. She runs to a door and throws it open, coming face to face with a man in a police uniform pointing a gun at her head. "Wait, don't shoot!"
"Get down!" he shouts. Claire ducks and Leon takes out the zombie behind her.
Leon introduces himself and brings Claire back to his police cruiser. They take off as zombies watch and moan.
In the car, the two talk about what they're doing in the city. Leon tells Claire to open the glove box. "There's a gun inside..." she says. Leon tells her to take it.
Suddenly, the two see a truck barreling at them. "That maniac's gonna ram us!" Leon shouts. The pair jump out of the car on opposite sides.
The truck slams into the cruiser and causes a massive inferno. Leon and Claire are stuck on opposite sides of it.
"Head to the station! I'll meet up with you there!" Leon tells Claire. She agrees and the duo are left to find their own paths to the station.
Can they get out of the city alive?
